Evolutionary algorithms and computations are computer-based solving systems, which use evolutionary computational models as a key element in their design and implementation. They have a conceptual base of simulating the evolution of individual structures via the Darwinian natural selection process. Generally, evolutionary computations require a massive computational effort to yield efficient and competitive solution to real-size engineering problems.
